Brazil: A New Beginning at the Sugarloaf Mountain - Young Spaniards Emigrate

After two years of economic recession in Spain, young people are increasingly leaving the country for new lives in places like South America. More than 17,000 southern Europeans arrived on the continent last year. We met the Spaniards Marco and Lluis, who have made their new home in Brazil.

Although Brazil’s economic growth is also stalled, and there are continuing street protests, the two young Spanish men say their living situation is better there than in their home.
