It's one of the oldest sporting competitions in the world. And one of the biggest. With some 12,000 players taking part in this year’s world cup, whose final is this week. It is, of course, the ‘boules’ world cup taking place in the French city of Marseilles. Our reporter John Laurenson is there and has been trying to find out why, for many French people, THIS is the real world cup.
