Architecture is among the most popular genres on Instagram. Some users have hundreds of thousands of followers, reaching wider audiences than specialized print magazines. Even art galleries are taking notice.

Sebastian Weiss, alias Le_Blanc, is one of the most popular architecture photographers on Instagram. A designer by trade, he began taking pictures 15 years ago and started posting on Instagram in 2010. Others who've followed in his footsteps include Dirk Bakker alias Macenzo, a Dutch graphic designer with over 280,000 followers.
