Angela Merkel begins third term as German Chancellor

Germany finally has a new government, nearly three months after national elections. Parliament elected Chancellor Angela Merkel to a third term as leader. She is now heading a grand coalition of Germany's main parties, made up of the conservatives and the center-left Social Democrats.
