India's population problem

The deaths of at least 13 women with dozens more ill following sterilization operations in India have prompted sadness and scrutiny of the country's population control efforts. They had undergone tube-tying procedures at a temporary camp run by state health authorities. It's believed just one doctor performed 83 surgeries in six hours. DW's Samrah Fatima spoke on this all too familiar event.
