Aid workers are coming ever more into the crossfire. Statistics released by the Humanitarian Outcomes partnership highlight increasing attacks on aid workers. The research indicates that more aid workers were abducted, attacked or injured in in 2013 than ever before. There are a number of factors behind this increase, as DW's Alexander Drechsel found out.
