Africa is seen by many people as one of the last few truly wild places left on earth. For Austrian photographer Alfred Weidinger this mysterious continent has consumed much of his career. He spoke with DW about the inspirations behind his "Last Kings of Africa" project, finding and photographing as many African royals before they and their unique culture disappear.
